Potting Table

Ever since I saw the first episode of Gardeners World back in 2018, I wanted a large potting table. Someplace to spread out the plants, potting mix, and tools needed for any given project. I have finally built my table from a design I found on Pinterest. Check out the video below and my notes on how I modified the original plans.

Concrete

As I’ve been reading and learning about all things gardening, I stumbled on DIY concrete projects, from bird baths to edging tiles and more. Watch the videos below to see how I do it.

Plant Stand

I tried to build a very simple plant stand that can used on a deck, balcony, or small courtyard. The plan is simple enough that you can modify it to fit your needs. Leave the wood plain, stain it, or paint it. The choice is yours.

Since moving to North Carolina, I have always wanted a space where I could pot plants, keep my pots out of the weather, and keep all my tools close at hand. Originally, this was inside the greenhouse, but over time, I realized it was not the optimal solution. In December 2025, I began construction of the potting shed. It was a challenge, having never built a shed before, but in January 2026, I completed the shed…for now.
